40th Anniversary

The inaugural meeting for the SSHM was on 9 May 1970. Huw Francis (Deputy County Medical Officer of Health for the West Riding, Yorkshire) outlined the aims of the SSHM and named the Society. Thomas McKeown gave the Inaugural Address. In 2010, we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary.
